&HOUSTON—The weather will be cooler over the next several days because we are expecting rain for the first part of the work week. In fact, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said there is a chance for heavy thunderstorms Monday afternoon.
"The weather pattern is getting a little more active," said Paul. "We could see some isolated strong storms with heavy downpours, small hail and gusty wind being the biggest severe threat today."
Monday kicked off with lows in the lower-70s and highs are expected to top off in the upper-80s. Temperatures will remain the same over the next couple of days.
Rain chances increase Tuesday and Wednesday with more widespread showers, then the weather is expected to clear up by Thursday.
