Santa Fe shop owners make prom dreams come true at Current News

SANTA FE, Texas — Kathy Potts was having a hard time dealing with anticipation as she stood outside the dressing room of her shop.

"The wait is so hard on me," she said. "But I can't wait to see their faces when they stand in front of the mirror and see themselves in a dress where they can feel like a princess at the prom."

Potts and her daughter Misti Briles own the Southern Charm dress shop. On Saturday, they gave several Santa Fe High School girls the chance to go to the prom by donating dresses for the event. Beauty Works salon also gave the girls free stylings.
